Howard Homecoming 2024 Yardfest. The second day of howard university’s homecoming yardfest promises to be an outdoor house party, complete with one of the world’s most famous djs. Yardfest 1 & 2 — more than 50,000 people descended on the yard to celebrate the 100th anniversary of howard’s homecoming over two days.

We kicked off homecoming weekend on the yard at yardfest. As a cultural vanguard of the hbcu homecoming experience, the university welcomed thousands of bison.
